Well you can never be too safe! I'm thinking of using .120" . I don't think it really matters as long as it has a 3" inside measurement for the spring eye to have a snug fit

Hi all, I'm getting my spring hanger boxes folded up before the week is out.. I've done some searching but couldn't find what guage steel everyone is using. I was thinking 1.5-2mm (around .060-.080) what do you guys recommend?
