I run that same setup on my duster,10 inch hub and drums,drilled to 4.5 bolt pattern with screw in studs. I had it done in the '80s and have no issues.

This is the way i did it, i removed my original front drum setup and shelved them. I went to the wreckers and bought a pair of 10 inch drums and hubs off a wrecked A body. I then separated the hubs from the drums,took the hubs to the machine shop and had them redrilled for the 4 1/2 inch bolt...

I assume you have 10 inch brakes on the front?
