    Yea. What you don't see in my pictures is a huge pile of crumpled up stainless brake line, and a whole bunch of unused stainless fittings. LOL!!!

    I also convert all of the A-bodies I've owned to manual brakes and manual steering if they come so equipped with power. I just like the road feel I guess. Not saying you "cant" feel the road with power, but its just different...a better different..lol

    are you dead set on power brakes? I have 2 A-bodies with manual brakes, pedal is not harsh at all. I use the later model aluminum 2 bolt master cylinder with the adapter plate from mancini, AR Engineering, etc. I use the 1 1/8 bore unit.

    I agree man. Just go manual. Saves alot of headaches. I like the pedal feel of manual brakes, some people do not, however. :)

    Most any A-body from 1973-1976 has disc brakes. You will need the upper control arms, the spindles, rotors, caliper brackets, calipers...etc.

    I like the cleaner looks of manual brakes. I dont like that big huge vacuum pod. I also like how they feel.

    Brake caliper help?

    I dont like the factory style brake lines with that metal tube, always seemed to be a PITA for me, making the brake hose too short. I got mine made at a custom hydraulic shop out of stainless braided line. think it was 45 bucks for the pair.
