drums off of a 2003 ranger slid right on to the axles and fit the sbp plates,just have to check afew things and looks like it might just work.

most people ive talked to about this have never come across this either,i find it odd that the axles that milehighdart ordered and the ones i ordered have the same part number,yet their totally different.i guess it pays to order direct from moser but on a plus note i may solved my drum problem...

im with you on the cash end of it,i ordered mine through a local machine shop.thats the same part number as mine,hope you have better luck keep me informed,maybe i got a friday set and the wrong ones were sent

the end of the axles where the drum sits is 2 3/4 in,and the center of the drum is 2 1/4.I guess when they call them replacement axles they mean replace everything.lol this is getting so annoying its startin to be funny

i ll do that now,i just went out to look at something and noticed that center of the moser axles is larger than the center hole of the drum

i just checked the moser site and it says *a body drums redrilled to 4 1/2 bolt pattern! they dont mention anything else,

i bought the MEIA30-CST-A45,when i went in to order them i told them what had and what i wanted (not from moser but a local shop)they told me id need new drums but nobody mentioned the plates.those axles were the a bastard to get in,they were really tight

ive recently changed from sbp to bbp with a set of moser axles and are now getting at the brakes.i plan on using 10 in back plates that are on the rearend now cause they were new last spring,does anyone know what drums i need to order to make this work.width doesnt matter (2 or 1 3/4)some brakes...
