I'd wipe the outside down w/ lacquer thinner and paint it silver. There's stuff out there to coat the inside, I did it 20 years ago with the stuff from Eastwood. But maybe that's overkill.

A&P mechanic here: 100 Low Lead avgas still has a lot of lead compared to old auto fuel. There is no unleaded avgas, but some recips can be certified to run auto fuel. Avgas is NOT oxygenated.
