    I have never bothered to retorque after the motor has fired. But I do normally torque 90/100ft in 3 steps, then allow it to sit over night to give the gasket time to compress and seat.     Comp cams degreeing issue

    Not sure which 284cam your installing but I just installed mine a week ago cam 20-228-4. Straight up for me came out @ 107* so I left it. 1* aint ****.

    finnally raced the car!

    Do I need a new mechanic?

    I do agree that you dont need to spacer do to the airgap being a higher rise. But I have recently install a Zex nitrous kit on my 340 airgaped dart and I could not tell a bit of difference with the nitrous plate on from before. I Zex nitrous plate is only a half inch tall though.

    dual quad small blocks?

    how about a 6pack I seen that Barry Grant is finally releasing a 6pack package for the small block 340-360. They had them for the fords and chevy's and even the 440's. In fact I believe mopar muscle did a dyno compare last month maybe. I have always loved the 6pack design.

    ET Question-Stocker....

    guessing it a automatic, The gears a way to high for any decent et's, but my guess would be it the 15sec, 90 mph, 1/4 mile range. Sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear, but I could be way off too. Maybe someone else is running something similar to you, and can give you a better idea.
