    Did I say NOT to buy them ?? NO , I ASKED a question and in typical fashion a source sword swallower gets his undies in a bunch for someone pointing out the OBVIOUS . For the record if I had to try to fool a casual onlooker that my engine was running stock iron heads I would buy a set of these...

    Unless something got changed I have yet to see anyone show even one port that flowed that out of the box , 260 cfm is a more realistic ACTUAL flow number.

    Dave you were right with your first thought , the aftermarket pistons are SHORT , the blocks are very close to the factory blueprint spec . If I were building this engine I would just have the block decked enough to square it and order a diamond piston with the CH adjusted to fit the block ...

    tci 904 or built 727

    Bill it's not how the sprag is anchored in a 727 , it's the design , the new sprags available from Coan and A+A add more rollers so the typical failure of the rollers rolling over is pretty much eliminated . the 904 does have the outer cam of the rear sprag riveted to the case , not sure why...

    hey don't hate the guy , you asked for opinions and you got one , was it not what you wanted to hear ? Add me to the list of being a TCI hater , the street fighter is not much more than stock rebuild parts , overpriced for what you get . Yes the 904 will be faster , but it has to be built...

    400HP and a cast slug

    Don't see why you can't use a cast slug in a 400HP engine , factory rated 440's were 390hp with cast slugs
