You have to remove the light assembly from the grille, then disassemble the light to gain access to the bulb. The metal socket should not come out of the housing.

The red wheelhouse liners were an option on the 67-68-69 Barracuda coupe & fastback models. N/A on verts. As far as the fender tag, the option code should be a number 8 below the "w" on the 3rd line down from the top.:read2:

I saw a '68 last year at the Mopar Nats that had those spears (or very close to those) and they looked decent at best. The biggest problem was how they fit onto the gill. Not the CORRECT shape & looked generic to me, but most people probably wont notice. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, PLEASE dont...

I agree. When I hear "cowl hood" a Chevy instantly pops into my brain, & that is NOT a good thing.

The thin edge goes toward the front of the hood. Picture #1 is correct.

Hey Mike. "Google Images" type 1968 Barracuda--on the 2nd page is a decent picture of an orange fastback with a black hood. (www.rittich.ca) Patrick's '68 Barracuda 340 "S". Looks pretty good, but it would look better with a glass HEMI hood painted black. Just an idea. Good luck, John
