Is missing the bushing on the rod ? is it possible to just replace the bushing or does the entire striker need to be replaced? The door is vibrating at the striker because the bushing is gone. I have not found either a bushing or a striker in line.. Does anyone have some guidance for me..

That is the best thing to do. Do you know of a source for NOS handles that don't cost as much as the door. My original handles are good, it is just the finish that shows age. I am going to check about plating mine.

I noticed that the stud in the grille are like square headed screws and I might be able to squeeze some new ones in> Is that a possible fix? Is there a better way?

Thanks for checking. Mine look good, as I had them re-chromed, but the studs are not good. They would probably stay put if I used silicone, maybe, along with the few studs remaining?
