I am in the process of restoring a 69 dodge dart. I tried to polish the original glass, but it has some deep scratches that I cant get out. I need a new windshield for sure, a rear quarter, maybe the side pieces. As I look towards buying a whole new set of glass, I am wondering how it is shaped...

My painter must have lost my handle to latch rods. He took the door handles off when he painted and they did not return with the car. Does anyone repop these or make some sort of alternative piece. What years/models are the same as 69 ? Thanks

I am worried about the carb and air cleaner interfering with the hood when it closes. The Edelbrock Victor single plane intake is approx 1 1/2 " taller than the rpm airgap. I have heard guys are running the rpm manifold on the 340 and are still able to close the hood.

Does anyone have a 69 dodge dart that has a 340 in it ???? That could maybe take some measurements like the ones in the picture to the center of the carb nut so I can transfer that info to the bottom of the hood. This pic was something i took from online and drew on, I know..... its a 440.

I think i might have to cut out the cross supports and reweld them where the red is to allow an air cleaner

BrianT is there anyway you can take a picture of where the dimple is on the underside of the hood with a tape measure on it at a reference point ? preferably measuring from the back ? I would think that the shumacher mounts would put the engine in the same exact spot otherwise the trans...

I am also running a stock v8 kmember.

Or do i have to cut away part of or modify the hood framing?

Does anyone have a pic of the underside of their hood with a sixpack mounted on it. And....that is using a higher intake manifold. Am i cutting the right spot ?

The engine is not in the car and the hood /scoop are at the bodyshop so i cannot get a measurement to the center of the carb with the engine mounted. I am hoping that if i cut out the diamond shaped area of hood in the picture that has masking tape around it that the carb will set right...

I am putting a Driver Design Super Sixpack hoodscoop on a 69 dodge dart flat hood. The car will have a 340 with an Edelbrock Victor single plane intake manifold.

If i do the mini tub, do i have to Move the leafsprings for bigger tires ?

I have a 69 dart and am also looking for a window sweep/fuzzy kit. My originals have a metal bead on the inside and outside pieces, hoping to find the same. I put some Repops on a 69 camaro, they worked out good. Repop does not have an online catalog that I can find, so not sure if they make...

69 Dart here. The torque rods have worn thru the the hinge bracket on both sides in both of the 69's that I have. I makes the slider come off of the square part of the hinge and I think it makes the rods not have enough tension to hold the lid up. This makes me think that its a common problem...

Hi, I have a 69 Dart that I am rebuilding. The hinges on both doors need to be rebuilt. Does the guy that was advertising here on the site still rebuid the hinges ? I thing he was in Renton, Washington. Thanks

1969 Dart. Motor is currently out Center to center on the shocks is 33 1/2"
