I looked as far as I could see but I didn't see anything that looked significant enough to allow water to get to the inside,still trying to find out exactly how the water is getting there,especially on both sides

All the wipers and seals look pretty good,but I haven't looked at them in detail,I have searched for pics of scamps,darts,swingers that are being restored but couldn't make out much detail on th,e cowl,I have never heard of cowls causing this type of problem but I guess it could happen?

Did find one bad seal,but most of the water was from the windshield.In looking at the seals did find a problem with the windshield washer pump that i did not know about,but that is fixed.Thanks for the tips.

You were right.It took some time to find but the water was running under the seal along several places on the bottom,going to try to have it sealed,but i may pull the windshield for a closer look.Thanks

I have a 1971 plymouth scamp.Somehow water gets to the front floorpans after a rain.The windshield is in good condition as is the seal,could be coming from the fresh air outlets but not for sure.It seems to leak more with a light and steady rain and not as much with a heavy rain.Any suggestions ???
