I dont know who got the best clutch kit but this one from SPEC is very affordable, with a great quality, made by a very reputable Company right here in the USA. Look for the SD044 Kit if 10.5 and 23 spline is what u need...

Take your time and measure the pilot bushing after you installed it in cuz sometimes they shrunk when installed and need to get it to size with a brake cylinder bore repair hone tool to get it to size, it will take many tries but it work like a charm, it happens to me before!

I think 10.5 flywheels are the same from big or small block, so i'll go with the 440 Source one cuz it got the removable counter weight and it is cheap $99 bucks you cant beat that plus SFI aprooved billet unit!

It is a steel crank, it is a internally balanced engine i took the bolt in weight out for the same reason but being this small thats why i am asking cuz i think it is too small of a weight.

Sadlly i didnt get any pictures of my trany setup, all i can tell you i use a E body 18 spline back then and use the back shifter location just like in a E body car i did fabricate the floor hump for the shifter so all was good the shifter rods went over the torsion bar x memeber.

I did in my demon back in the day and love the shifter position way back just easyer and the short trow of the straight small level hurst shifter just amaizing it will be like that in my Swinger!

yeap, first how much it take to convert from 23 to 18 spline and how good this will be? and also how strong is the 23 spline unit? would it be enough for a really hot street 440 that will be seen track with slicks once in a while? it is a 72 swiger minitubed dana60 and guestimate 550 hp.
