Yeah your throttle linkage and probably kickdown linkage is all messed up. Hard parts to find in the correct original configuration, but not impossible. It should all look something like this.

The dash pad is no big deal as you can get a replacement or cover. Other interior is available too at a cost of course. 8 3/4 must have been added as they didn't usually come that way, not until '66 I'm pretty sure. Check to see if the bolt pattern on the rear matches the front. 4" or 4.5"...

Sounds like it's NOT the problem we explained about. Must be your driveshaft, U-joint, wheels or something like that. Your slowly tracking it down..yay! At least now you know you have a date code correct drivetrain.

Is that the original motor? Are you sure? My '65 Barracuda had a bad vibration. I balanced the tires, replaced the ball and trunion...everything. What was it? Turns out the newer engine (1969) mated to the 1965 transmission has a problem. The snout on the torque converter is smaller...
