I have 255/60/15 on rear of my 63. At the time I installed, I felt this was widest I could go without rubbing inside inner fender on suspension travel. This is with disc brake conversion and offset shackles. Weld Racing rims but don't know offset.

Lol, standard seats may be better. The bolsters on mine squeeze a bit but the seat length is also a bit short for me as i like more support under the leg. They are good, i dont plan to change them. I am not super Mario but of more standard dimensions.

I have scat procar in my 63. I used the universal mount and fabricated/welded the perches to fit original holes in floor and get the right height and fore/aft location. All perches are different height. I find the seats good quality and comfortable but a bit small. If you can, try out the seats.

I have Mopar Performance DCC-4286868 on my 63. Got them from Summit a few years ago, although I don't see them on their website now.

I have procar in my 63 valiant. I used the universal mount and fit and welded up the perches to match the original holes. Also allows you to get the heights, slopes and legroom where you want them. Lots of fiddling around though.

We sliced the firewall just below the wiper bolts and modified the wall and rewelded and refinished. Of course, at the time, we didn't know we had to do this so the engine bay had been painted. A couple of after pics included.

A V8 will fit. You need to modify the firewall by the distributor and wiper motor area. IIRC will need a V8 steering link too. Can keep original K member but new motor mounts. Header selection is limited and tight fit. Now, I have heard others have cut out a section of a donor 64 firewall and...

I have TTI in my 63 valiant with stroked 360. Not sure if valiant and dart have same header space issues. They are still a tight fit. Torsion bar runs through one of them. No power steering or power brakes but do have mini starter.

I think there might have been some minor linkage mods required inside. Wipers optional anyway! Can't remember all the little issues we had unless i have pictures even though it only happened a couple years ago. The firewall mods were minor compared to the trans tunnel for the tremec.

Sorry, i think the middle picture above in post 5 is from prefit of engine before we cut, with engine not all the way back. This picture is 'after' picture.

Here's a few pictures of what we did. Wiper motor in original spot. Cut below, and reweld, fill and repaint. We learned the hard way, already had the engine bay painted. Distributer is Summit but now have a Performance world one which is actually larger diameter cap on it.

I put a 408 in my 63, although my 63 is American model. Yes, firewall needs modification for distributor. I don't believe motor mount changes or cross member or anything else will cure this. We had to cut the firewall and refabricate in a section. I have heard others have used a 64 firewall...

No, 3 in the tree manual in the car originally. It is a TKO 600 behind a 408. Didn't need the extra torque capacity of 6 speed. With 3 speed, no issues with previous shifter location or consoles. All and more of original trans hump had to come out and then rebuilt with new trans supports...

Looks like there is a 62 out there missing its VIN? Obviously VIN does not support this belonging to this car. Not an expert, but I don't think any 63 Valiants built at Lynch Road plant. 60-62 maybe. In any case, lots of red flags here.

As others have mentioned - For 63, Vin should be 1_3. Vin located on spot welded tag on driver door A pillar. First two numbers hand stamped. In my case, the second number is a 4, for premium. The four numbers on the bottom line of the fender tag should match the four numbers on the rad...

I just put in an autometer 73-10 ohm in my 63. I also have an aftermarket sender in. I tried splicing it in and running in parallel with the existing fuel gauge but did not work - the autometer just kept cycling to half full and back. I suspect with two gauges it upset the resistance...
