    Best guess on 416 motor

Very nice setup. Is the Super Victor better than the M1 single plane? You will go high 10's, my SDSS Eddy headed 408 goes 10.86 @ 120 in full street trim in a 68 notchback. Very nice intake.

Got my "official" 10 second time slip last night!!

Flyfish, wait till you put that 950 on there. Hope your strapped in! Way to go buddy, wish you lived closer so you and I could hook up and go racing.

    A Question for the Experts....

Yes, I think you guys and gal are right. I have a dual pulley with a March single pulley setup. It's just ever so slightly off, and I too will have to do some finagling to get it right. Right now I'm pretty bummed about my right front fender. Some prick with a late model Camaro had his door...

    A Question for the Experts....

Yes mam, I think you may be right. I think sometimes the driver and mechanic also need a tune up. lol

    A Question for the Experts....

I can't seem to keep the alternator/waterpump belt on my car, and I was thinking if this is also why my car felt flat going to 3rd gear. Temp got to 250 degrees at the end of each run as well. My battery also wasn't holding a charge as I trickle charge it all night, and checked it before I went...

    New Best....Again!!

Well, it went 10.86@117 today, however it kept slinging the water/alternator pump off on each pass, taking the engine to 250 degrees. Ouch. Also, Six pack hood tried to turn in to a kite, as it is only pinned on 4 corners. I'm done with the mechanical water pump, as the belt just won't stay on...

    Help my crap 60ft times!

If you're crossing the stripe at 3800, I just don't see a 3.91 ratio in the rear end. Please don't get mad, but have you verified the gear ration, and also I could see reading the tach wrong. Just my worthless .02 cents, but I think 4.56's would slow that car down. Can you also share your motor...

    It's alive

Wheww! I was worried something bad happened to it. Somebody got one bad to the bone motor. You still got a bad a$$ car too! Congrats on the good runnin' 340!

    It's alive

Man, I haven't been on this site for a while, but I hate to ask, what happened to the other motor? Last I checked that car was kickin' some serious booty.

    Aluminum Bumper Brackets

Are you making any for 67-69 Cuda's and when will they be available?

Popped my 9 second cherry yesterday

Way to go!! Let's here some more about that 408!

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Flyfish, just by switching to the 950 I think you are at 10's no problem. I think you would like the QF950 DP. Mine is the Q series.

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Thanks roosduster. I agree about Flyfish, because he and I have darn near the same car. His is a '67 and mine is a '68. I believe Flyfish has an LA and I have a Magnum. Both strokers with Stage 2 SDSS Eddy heads. I think Flyfish has a solid cam, not sure, I'll let him chime in more on his combo...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Thanks again for all of the kind words and support from everyone. I wish Brian would post some pic's of his Dart, it's beautiful and fast! Show AND Go. 800 horse NA small block, goes 9.30's@146. I love to go to the track with him, and watch the Chevy boys come by and look for the nitrous...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

I wish I knew what kind of power it's making. Never dynoed it, just built it. It's a full interior street car. When I say street, I mean drive it around town, on backroads but I don't get out on the interstate however with the 4.11's and a 998. It's also a SS leaf spring car with CE drag shocks...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

One more question Flyfish, I have a full interior car, with a 2 inch 6 point rollbar, so what would be your guess on the weight of my car? Have you weighed yours? Is it full interior?

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Flyfish, the 1/8th mile was 6.91@99. Yes, had you been on a quartermile track, you'd hit your 10 second mark. I read your posts over at Moparts about the intake, I'm a little surprised at the Victor. You need that 950 also. I'm running a Mopar M-1(High Rise) intake port matched to the heads with...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Hey Flyfish! I've been looking for your posts recently. You and I have the same car, just different colors, and our engine combo's are VERY similar. I put a 50cc squirter on the primary, and used the brown pump cam. I also went down in the primary squirter from .031 to a .028. Square jetted to...

Great Job!! Nothing like setting a new best, vitamin C for the soul.

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Nice car bud. I noticed your car is leaving like mine was. I had to relax the front end(6 cylinder torsion bars, CE drag shocks) to get the front end to rise more. Also, my Hoosier QTP's don't like a bunch of heat. Also check your pump cam/squirter setup. Mine is still too aggressive as it hits...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Thank you sir. My '60ft got down to 1.52. The cooler temps will definetely help you. Track prep is also important once you get to making power. I have learned that suspension and basic car setup becomes critical to breaking the 10 second barrier. Also, your pump cam/squirter setup in relation to...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Got the '60ft down to 1.52. They said I got 2 inches of air under both front wheels! My friend Brian said that it would have a little more if I adjust the torsion bars up about 3/4 of an inch. We marked the rear tires with shoe polish, and even with the stellar launch, they said the...

    Finally...10!!! Thanks 408StrokerDart!

Well, it finally happened. This squirrel finally found his nut. The Cuda went 10.92@120 last night at Dallas Raceway. My friend Brian Smith helped me immensely. Here is the combo 68 Notch Street car, full interior, w/6 point rollbar. 408 10.8:1 Forged internals SDSS Stage 2 port Eddies...

    2010 mustang goes 8.97@153..

I think he got kicked off from Moparts for talking out his a$$ a while back. If he is who I think he is, most people don't respect him much. Don't know why people would stop to take pictures of a Mustang, nothing rare there. As far as the Nova being a better looking car than the Challenger, then...

Again, to each his own. I'm sure the squirrely high school kids are droolin. But, you only run 11's, so I guess you are overly impressed.............
