I know. There were many issues going on in that 383. I really hope he can get it fine tuned for Duct Tape Drags as I’m itching to race him with the turbo.

Good catch and thanks for the heads up. I must’ve read that wrong somewhere. I’ve never had the pleasure of working with the R/T heads.

It looks like a crack in the photo but, it’s actually carbon build up. My flashlight caused it to have a slight shadow making it look like a crack. I do have a cracked head though. Depending on how this 318 is running after the race, I may swap the heads.

Worked over the heads some to squeeze a few extra ponies. At no surprise, my early magnum heads were cracked. Not like that’s going to stop me though

We race this Friday. Movin fast to get the Dart back together.

Nitrous is definitely the easiest go-to option. The kicker with this particular competition is that there’s a 200 shot limit. There’s no limit on boost. I can build boost at the starting line and have it ready for the green light. 12lbs should put me in the 600hp range

Alright, I’ve finally decided on the power adder. I’ve always wanted to do this. The 318 is getting boosted with an eBay turbo in a draw through configuration.

So this 318 does have the LA oil passage. The block number indicates magnum however.

Our official start date was April 1st. We wanted to focus on MATS in March.

Definitely wrenching myself. Just gotta work into the budget a nitrous kit and some slicks
