Here's my Slant Six 1972 Gold Duster. Bought it from the original owner when it had 70k original miles for $1,000. Original paint, original upholstery and basically all of it was in original bone stock condition. After a repaint and custom wheels, here's my daily driver.

So here's the deal. I'm planning to swap the /6 bars on my duster for some set that I believe are out of a 318 that have been laying around. The car is a 1972 duster with A/C and P/S, the stock bars read .890. The ones I believe are out of a 318 have a 058 Left bar. Also I have another set that...

Is there any handling improvement if I add 318 torsion bars to a slant six car? Anyone done that before?

Pertronix worked fine for me. Easy and fast installation and there was no need to change the dist. Will recommend.

Hi there: I am looking for a matching ring & pinnion for a 7 1/4 different than 2.76:1. Something numerically higher as 2.93 or 3.23 could work fine for me. I cant find any of these from aftermarket sellers but I do understand these came OEM in cars before 1968. There are no old mopars around...

Something similar happened to me once. It came out that a plastic out of the points fell apart and current was going the wrong way. All it took to fix that was a piece of cardboard to prevent current going the wrong way.

Just going to say, best thing I´ve ever added to the slant. Quick starts every day, even in cold mornings. Plain Great!
