ok will have to go with water pump due to length of cable wont reach manifold

ok I know this is going to sound weird but where is the stock bolt for the negative lead to the battery? I had an aftermarket ac in the car I got rid of and now the cable wont reach anything that I can ground to. I might need to get another cable but wondered where they grounded to from dodge.

i have a overflow but i think it is from an older dart and a 318 or bigger. Im getting creative and think I have a way to make it work and still look like it belongs.

Hey Im trying to find a pic of what the overflow jug for the slant 6 looks like. I bought one from a member here and it wont fit at all! I think its for a 318 or bigger judging from the shape of it. Would use it myself but it wont clear the alt or belt for the alt. any ideas?

kit has a replacement ball but no brass cap.

well for the first time in going out to see how much gas I was getting in a shot, I got nothing! then tried again and got a nice strong shot. Wonder if the other times it was jsut a flluke that it was working everytime I tried it before. Finished installing wheel bearings and took it for a drive...

its getting a shot of gas, its a /6, 225 with a holley 1920 on it. Couldn't tell you if it ran properly before due to I just bought it a week ago and it has been that way all along. After the carb rebuild and swapping out plugs, wires, and rotor "no cap" it seems to be better but still does it.

its not the accelerator pump it works fine. need to check timing and see if there is a vac leak

will have to throw a timing light on it.

is that the little blue wire that comes out the top of the tank in the trunk?

update!!!! completed my first carb rebuild! went great got it all back together checked to see if fuel was infact flowing into the carb. Got a tack and set the idle screws to the book..... but still have issues under acceleration. Idles fine but if you try and rev it the car will act like it...

guess i need to find a donar car

well i am thinking of going to a super 6 after some issues wuth my single barrel set up. the question is to swap over besides the manifold what else do you need? ad what carb is recomended? just looking for a driver.

was thinking about rebuilding the carb, where do you get the kits for the single barrel? and does the accelerator pump come with the rebuild kit? if not where is a good place to purchase these two items.

ok so I jsut picked up this 1972 dart that has sat for 10 years. It fired right off but have a few issues with it that I need some help with. "im a body guy not a motor guy". So here goes..... when on a cold start up the car runs beautifully! hit accelerator and purs great.... after she warms...

its a 72 with the 225. Yeah I ment electronic, also I was just looking at the amount of vac hoses and the giant canister so I was wondering if there was a way to remove all that and free up some engine bay room.but if it helps that much I might as well leave it.

So I want to go electric ignition for my slant and wondered what people would recommend, and where is the best place to get one? Also is there a way to set this up to get rid of the vacuum set up?
