Not a stock motor or oil pan for sure. Tried to see if there was a number on the back but was nothing.

Ok here's a question. Changing the oil and I realized I have no idea how much it would take. Normally a 440 takes 4+1 if changing the filter but my oil pan looks a lot deeper than a stock pan? (Yes I know it's dirty under there)

EDIT: Ok so simply put, I forgot what the previous owner said for amount of oil and since the dipstick is not for this 440, that is no help. Standard 440s take 4+1 no? Yet this oil pan seems to be deeper than a stock one or is that just me? What is the psi that you have in your 440 (Cold...

Got the Dart back yesterday morning. Ran beautifully and cruised almost the entire day!

I'm not the one working on it so I have no idea.

Does something look wrong here? Car was running almost the same before and after this happened. No loss of oil pressure. All the other pushrods and rockers were inspected, all fine. The pushrod was still straight although a new one was ordered with the replacement rocker. Rest of the engine...

Ok so got an update so far. My mechanic simply said that the "pushrod went up through the rocker" and that was causing my problem. So far everything else seems fine.

Ok I'm hoping someone might have an idea. Need a rocker, just one. Mechanic can't figure out exactly which rocker it is. Says it is stamped only TE5 yet the one next to it is stamped TE6 and some don't have any markings at all. Sorry I don't have pictures due to me being out of town. Hoping this...
