    70 Duster ignition issue

Thank you that bearing came out being patient and using two screw drivers. Do I just pull on the ignition switch wires to get enough slack to remove it?

    Ignition switch???

I have a 70 duster 318 car. It will fire right up and run as long as you hold the ignition switch in the start position. As soon as you let go it dies. I was hoping the starter relay (easy to get to), but that didn't work. I am thinking I need to change the switch in the colum. Any suggestions?

That sounds like you dont have your torque converter all the way back. Make sure you get it to click back on and rotate.
