Great effort, some good times for a heavy stocker with spray. And the car is in great shape, definitely worthy of fixing up.

Best bang for the buck in your case is probably headers, advance the cam, complete tuneup including carb adjustments, and upgrade to electronic ignition if it isn't already.

Also have your intake ported. Running a box-stock intake is leaving hp on the table.

Inner fenders are optional.

Personally I prefer the 5/8 race cam, it's a little more driveable on the street.
