Turboing a 68 dart question etc

I'm planning on going blow thru and E85 on my Valiant, simply because I like carbs. EFI might be a better choice though...maybe someone else can chime in on the pros/cons of that.

Turboing a 68 dart question etc

I'd just play with the 340 with low boost while collecting pieces for a stouter short block.

Turboing a 68 dart question etc

Ah ok. Should make great power but I'd worry about eventual replacement. 3G Hemi readily available in Aus?

About that time 470,500, or 512

Exactly, hence why I said "as long as it leaves room" Stroker BBC's survive with much less rod ratio and make damn good power...any of these combos listed has the same or better rod ratio than those. If you're buying a kit with a new crank, just go for the 512 IMO.

470 will possibly save you some money if you use a stock forged crank and have it offset ground. It's also (supposedly) easier on the bearings over a 4340 crank. If you're starting from scratch and buying a kit with a new crank, just go with the 512.

Go with the longer rod as long as it leaves room for a good ring package

    X2 on the 470.
