Post a "Wanted Ad" here for on FABO. Someone is bound to have one reasonable. 99.9% of members are legit, but once in a while a scumbag will respond to wanted ads. If you have any questions, ask. If a seller has positive feedback, they're probably good.

29 years ago I bought a long block off Jasper Engines and had the head rebuilt locally. The engine was great for a number of years and was running great when I sold the car. Delivery was fun. I ordered and paid extra to have it delivered with a lift gate. Well...it showed up on an 18 wheeler...

I agree. Looks great. If you don't want to give an exact cost, give us a range. When I lived in Virginia Beach, I took my 66 radiator to a shop. He tanked it, but said he couldn't get a core to fit it :BangHead:. I didn't argue and he cleaned it up for me.

I use a plastic sandwich bag and rubber bands on the transmission lines and radiator.

I think he meant a Dodge Magnum (body style). :poke:

I run non ethanol in all my carburetor engines also. Here we have Rec 90 octane. Another benefit is the fuel nozzle is variable from zero to full. Makes it much easier to fill the Barracuda.

I use the Pertronix Igniter II and the Pertronix Flamethrower 40,000 volt coil in my 66 Barracuda. It burns clean and looks stock. And...according to the instructions, I bypassed my ballast resister. A FABO member offers complete kits to convert to HEI. See http://www.classichei.com/

This is really what the hobby is about. Making new friends, helping each other out, drinking a few while doing it.

I had a thermostat housing leak like that one time. Tried tightening the hose clamp but it didn't help. I ended up removing the housing and sanding it where the hose attaches. It took care of the leak. Replaced the t-stat while I was there.

Just ordered a lower hose from NAPA and the spring from PonyParts (8.99 shipping included). When I swapped motors last June, I took the original radiator to an old school radiator shop. Since it was so old, he didn't want to rod it out, but he ran it through his tank. Not sure if it was a...
