I’d soak it over night in gasoline and see what affect it has on it. If it doesn’t clean up or dissolve I’d be surprised. Maybe a gas scrub after that. The neck itself looks pretty good.

I used a new style thin lock ring but had to make a thicker rubber gasket to have a tight leak free fit.

I don't think I've ever seen that and I'd be curious as to why. Everything I've ever seen has only had one vacuum line to the booster including my own....when I ran power brakes. I've seen the duplex fitting on the booster but with a cap on the un-used nipple.

I drilled mine out and retapped to larger threads to accomodate the probe. There's plenty of casting there and it doesn't weaken the ligament at all.

I used the bracket kit from Bouchillon Performance Engineering (BPE), www.bperacing.com ,along with their kickdown cable kit. You can adapt your stock throttle cable to their bracket or use an aftermarket throttle cable like LOKAR. That's the route I went. Looks very clean. Trying to find a pic.
