That's what I thought. The P.O. of my 74 bracket car put a 70 front clip on it. I don't like the beak front end either. A guy locally has a 73 front clip with a glass hood for a good price but I'll just keep what I have. Thanks for the replies.

Are the front fenders and hood from a '73 Dart Sport the same as a 70 Swinger?

Does anyone make the clips that hold the rod that goes from the outside door handle down to the inside mechanism?

I used John Deere "Blitz Black" on my son's truck. It is a single stage semi-flat black. It looks good and according to tractor owners wears like iron. The best part is it costs about $24.00 a gallon.

I'm no expert, but usually the problem is an unclean surface. Make sure both pieces are clean.(No rust, paint, or grease) You might also check that your ground is good.
