We bought some throw rugs with a rubber backing at a local “cheap” store…. Whatever we needed to do, we did. Keep those rugs for later on in their life when their paws don’t have the traction to help get them up off the floor.
Drag racing has plenty of other classes to satisfy the purists... Nascar used to be "run what you brung and hope you brung enough." Now, rules upon rules
Mine is a little obvious but I no longer have that car... I always loved the idea of the "sleeper" concept. This shitbox was fun to drive but a ***** to work on. The reactions from people when they get "spanked" by this thing was priceless!! The link is my last pass ever before I sold it...
For me, it's an unknown. The car I just acquired; the owner told me that the camshaft was changed. By the roughness of the idle, I deemed it true, but I don't know the specs of said camshaft nor does the previous owner. This is what "I was told".
Do your homework and get prices for everything. It might be easier and cheaper to just get an engine from Blueprint or another builder of your choice. It'll save time too. Just throwing it out there.
I've got quite a few friends that still "plays with cars". I got out a few years ago due to a pending move down south.... That never happened, so I'm back in it with the vehicle in my avatar.
LOL!! "Guard duty"!! We call it "squirrel patrol".
A challenge and a blessing in disguise, believe it or not. I got "paid" to be home taking care of both of them.
We had to seclude our dog for at least 5 weeks... We kept him in one room that he could still see us in. We hung shower curtains to block out the windows he could look out.... He goes nuts over squirrels and visitors, never mind the mailman. I slept on the couch so he wouldn't be...
Did this last spring. The dog is better BUT his leg gets stiff at night. He likes to run and when he does, it really gets stiff on him at night. The next morning, he is fine. Is it perfect, no, but we are glad we did the surgery.
