    thats good to hear. on mine what resolved it for me was , new hoses new stat with a small hole drilled on it to no have to worry about BURP new water pump new radiator cap new water pump housing inlet or outlet? 'Neck' glad to hear ! now drive the hell out of it.

    where can one find this hood piece? that blocks off radiator gap and keeps from hot air from circulating? any one have any suggestions? also what is this piece called?

    Check you timing make sure its spot on. then invest in a new gauge. also get the rubber block off for the hood like everyone else said. after that reevaluate.

    yeah i thought so, a chevy guy once told me long ago " Anything old like this with a carburetor its always best to just simply remove the thermostat" idk.... haha :burnout::coffee2::coffee2: steamy.

    damn, i just intalled a Mr. Gasket highflow thermo. 180* hope its working properly! after about 15 miles it creeps up from 190 to 220 <---- Daily driver.

    i replaced the lower Hose and the radiator CAP that seemed to do the trick. also bought a new GATES water pump and gasket but not installing anymore seeing how its not over heating anymore will install if needed later. thanks guys.

    34****. Sorry. That was a typo for sure. 34 total. No significant bubbles or any at all When rev'ed air flow does change and is visible when radiator cap is off when rev'd the flow gets higher - does this indicate a clogged radiator ? The fan propeller has 6 fins.
