i took a look down beneath and found the PROP valve its routed down there next to the starter by fender well... is this possibly bad? it is not adjustable.

is the current M/C not the correct size? what do you suggest?

M/C has to be off when putting motor in. make sure your motor is spot on. gaskets and bolts because its hell working under such a tight squeeze after its in.

old but works - i have since cleaned up things a bit and rerouted. But this gives you and idea of how tight it is... its tight...

- i will look up the prop right now. - i will check out the local auto part store also for that. - not sure if it was originally power brakes i think it was. But in any case is there a way to tell the difference between a power M/C and a Manual M/C.? thanks. :prayer:

not 100% sure if it was an all four drum brake car originally. not sure if the prop was changed it was already this way when purchased 5 years ago. what/which do you suggest for a master cylinder and prop?

haha, i bet! well i didn't buy the second one to replace both because i couldn't afford it - so at this moment in time i cannot afford a Bendix so we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Hopefully we stop in time to do so...... -_-

It was 10" brakes not the smaller 9" i switched it out and brakes feel "like new" Oriley's Driver side drum cylinder - 9.53 brake fluid - 5.43 thanks guys. easy fix & not so expensive thank God

i was loosing pressure on my brakes. this morning i noticed my driver side REAR wheel was leaving a nice three inch oil stain on the pavement in the shape of the tire! haha so i figured the cylinder is bad & leaking inside drum. thanks for the input guys. i have yet to take it apart.

i cant confirm if this is original to the car. the car is originally a 318. when i bought my rear wheels i bought big bolt pattern if that helps. 5xdarn i forget. the size. ill just end up removing and taking it in to match up at the parts store i guess?

i have a 8 3/4 rear end on my 1968 Barracuda one of my drum brake cylinders is leaking i went in to the parts store to buy a new cylinder but they told me that they had two in stock one for 9 in. brakes and another for 10-11 in. which one do i need? :burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout:

Any one know where I could find those drum cylinder/Pistons? Part numbers? The rear reservoir is not loosing oil... The front one loosing a lot and pedal pressure is very low to floor board makes me think if front discs are even working...

no obvious leaks maybe it is inside, correct. apparently:blob: the front smaller reservoir is for the rear so my mistake i will go home and check rear cylinder. thanks guys.
