Hello. I was thinking of buying polylocs for my engine. But do I need to buy the transmission mount as well? I have heard that on chevys you will brake the transmission house if you use stiff motor mounts and standard rubber mount on the transmission. Hope somebody has an answer. Thanks Daniel

Which roller rockers are you using with your hughes hydraulic roller lifters? The angle of the pushrod becomes a bit lop-sided with hughes hydraulic roller lifters. So the best would be a offset rocker for the intake. but I haven´t found any. grateful for answers Thanks Daniel

were does the 2nd cambearing from the back get oil? is it from the 2nd from the back crank bearing?

I assembled the engine myself. but if i have to fix the cam bearings must the crank also come out?

i have runned a wire down the hole all the way in to the cam. so nothing seems to be stuck in the hole. i don´t want it but i think the machineshop installed the bearings wrong.

J heads Arp fasteners and fel pro 1008 gasket. but i have taken the headbolt out an still no oil coming thru.

i have taken of the rocker shafts. and ran the engine on the starter. when i do this it should pump oil out of the hole but it doesn´t come any oil at all.

Yes the holes in the bearings must line up with the holes in the block. But a machine shop put the cambearings in, so i sure hope they installed them correct.

I just started up my engine tonight it sounded great but i didn´t get any oil to the RH rockers. took the bolts out were the oil should come on both sides and ran the engine on the starter. on the LH hole there came lots of oil. but absolutly nothing on the RH side. HELP!!!

I took the stuff to the machine shop today and there was no clearence problems. so problem solved. thanks guys

Hello. My rod bearing clearnce is 0,0015. What i have read it should be 0,002-0,003. But i thought i would ask you guys first. It is a stroker 408 with a Forged scat crank and rods. I bought it as a rotating kit with bearings and everything. Thanks Daniel

What is the 050 duration on that cam? What are you using it for street/strip?

It will drive maybe 50 runs on the strip and rest of the year on the street. What do you think hydraulic or solid? I have been looking on a hydraulic that has 235 241 0,50 and 530 lift plus little extra with my 1,6 rocker. And another one that has 241 248 0,50 and lifts 550.

Now I know it can be done. But does anybody know if howards retrofit lifters will work?? I´m from sweden so it is easier for me to shop everything on summit. And summit doesn´t have hughes lifters.
