    Radiant Barrier Insulation

Didn't make a lot of sense to me. Looks like a cheap date if it'll provide a decent R value.

    Radiant Barrier Insulation

Shows an R-value of 3.7 - 21 (depending on application).. That's quite a range. At 3.7 I wouldn't think you'd feel much benefit. 21 would do you great. I did my 2 car garage with R-19. World of difference, I love it.

    Rotisserie suggestions requested

I built using Redwing plans. Got most material for free. Still got about 150 bucks in it. And my time (which has minimal value). Had several offers of 900 bucks for it. I say just buy one, use it and then sell it when you're done. Only out a couple hundred bucks, worst case..

    Recommendations led shop lights

I've redone a bunch of 8 foot fixtures (single pin bulbs). It's called a double ended bypass. Simply hook all the wires on one end of the fixture to the 'hot' supply wire and all the wires on the other end of the fixture to the 'neutral' supply wire.. Easy peasy. I used 6000K LEDs and they...

    double flaring tool

If you are just doing one car (seldom use) the one i showed will get you fine results for a reasonable cost. The 'kick' to the item posted is the 'screw' on the side that holds the line securely in place. prevents slippage while flaring. It's not the best tool in the world, and it's not for a...

Building it was fun! I'm no welder, but I've done fairly well learning. It does have a 2x2 beam that connects the two ends. Solid as it can be. Jacks were optional and probably not needed, but they are sure convenient. I'll get some decent pics tomorrow at work.

I built the redwing. Was lucky and got most of the steel free. Got about 200 bucks tied up in jacks and casters. Been offered 1200 bucks for it. Seems you could make back what it costs to build pretty easy..

looking to buy my first welder

I second the Lincoln 140. It's a 110 unit. Gas or flux core. Not the most heavy duty machine but great for the hobbiest. I've had mine for years. Still love it. And at about $500 bucks, doable.
