those are super cool numbers. running into the 12 with such a high 60ft time. top! And i fully understand that you want to go into 11.99 :) like me. Stick shifting as well ... but.....

slicks for a stick shifter ...

we don't have permanent tracks here. Just lousy preped small air ports. I tryed 26x10 hoosies. Better than readials from M/T in 60ft but with less air feels quite unsafe sometimes in the traps. And those are used down now so i need something new anyway.

slicks for a stick shifter ...

full Interieur, full gas tank, full windshild washer tank, me inside (75kg ) made 1.66 tons on the scale. that are converted 3660 lbs, right?

slicks for a stick shifter ...

how are your experiences with those MT's? Unfortunatly Hoosier has no 28" tire with a good width. A 10 Inch width is rubbing in the wheelhousing and on the leaf springs. ( i tried a 26x10-15 Hoosier ), a M/T with same Dimension fits perfectly. ( thats because of the side wall construction) But i...

slicks for a stick shifter ...

probably a zilion times asked. But what is the recommended Slick for a stick shift car, 3660 lbs, 350HP, 4,56:1, 72 DART with stock wheel openings. So required dimension is 28-09-15. M/T 3054ST are looking good to me. But super expensive here... USD 750.... Hoosier doesn't offer Slicks (...

    moving axle one inch backwards

thats probably true about look and hook. But 28" plus Diameter doesnt fit in the stock wheel opening. one inch back gives me the possibility to mount up to 30" wheels.

    moving axle one inch backwards

the tires will rub on the quarters. See the Pictures provided here. Yes, i do think about the Shocks. But it seems to work for others here pretty well. And yes, i did already drill a hole in a leaf spring. Just in one layer and that was in deed an experience hahahaha...

    moving axle one inch backwards

really? It is not an issue in geometry? Because this would be the easiest way at all rathe than drillin a hole in the perch and

    moving axle one inch backwards

  15. Buschi340

    moving axle one inch backwards

    moving axle one inch backwards

well, i don't wanna buy mono leafs just because of an Offset hole :) anyway, did you change your drive shaft? Thanks anyway for the Pictures!!
  17. Buschi340

    moving axle one inch backwards

front spring Mount Extension would affect the rear spring shackle angle as well... And that i can't Change on my (!) car. Brakes are no Problem. I have Ford disc Brakes :) the drive shaft is in deed a Problem. can i pull the slip yoke at least 40 -50% out? or would it be too risky because of...

    moving axle one inch backwards

easiest way? Anybody did that? To have clearance for 29inch tires. I was thinking of drilling a hole into the perch and into the shockplate one inch behind the original hole for the leaf springs. So there is no need to move the leaf springs... what do you think?
