    Pedal Help -

Thanks guys, found the C clip at Napa, helped a little. Sprayed some lubricant on it, fixed a little more. Binds a little, but I think once I start using it more, should possibly work its way out.

    Pedal Help -

OK folks, need some insight. Installed 340 pedals on my 70 Duster. When I push in the clutch and the brake, the brake binds and has difficulty returning without foot assistance. Once I let off the clutch, the pedal returns fine. Both pedals work fine independently. What I noticed is the...

    A833 #'s

Luther - Funny, I just wen through this issue. I had an E-Body 833 and needed to place it in an Abody. Here is what I learned and what I ended up doing: You can place and E/B 833 with an adjuster pad as shown on BBDart.com. I purchased a piece of iron from a user one here to do this. Very...

    Shifter not going into 3 & 4

Daliant, I did. Still had the problem. Was having problems still, so I angerly yanked on it a 2 year old tantrum since I couldn't find hammer to fix it. After I walked away and came back, it worked? I think something was bound up in the shitfer

    Shifter not going into 3 & 4

Dave - ok, I did confirm I did find neutral by tail-shaft not spinning. Just for giggles, 3/4 are closest to clutch, 1/2 are closer to tail-shaft. I can lever the shifter over to first, goes from 1/2 no problem, from 2nd to third, shifter pops and transitions over to 3/4 no problem. Issue...

    Shifter not going into 3 & 4

Dave - funny, I read that like three time and I just noticed I had the revers rod to center part of the mechanism and 3/4 to the outside closest to shifter. I now have them exactly like the photo shown by trudysduster. AND I still have the problem, seems forward gears (closest to bell...

    Shifter not going into 3 & 4

Umm - yea, I removed the aligning tool (aka small bolt) prior to testing. It wouldn't go into anything since it locks the entire mechanism.

    Shifter not going into 3 & 4

Trad - inside the shifter?, the transmission shifts fine by hand, but I will look.

    Shifter not going into 3 & 4

OK, have a 68 A833 I just set up with a competition plus shifter. It shift fine for reverse, 1 & 2, however 3 & 4 do not move. It feels like the shifter mechanism is not grabbing inside the shifter. Could someone of put this together wrong, or is there something else simple. Also, does...

HD Pedals overcenter spring - need help

Thanks everyone, seems I will press on and continue with the install. #9 - Yea, I too agree - the $70 was pretty nice. Summits have sales racks for open box items. Since I live close, I like taking walks around them. Being Mopar guys, these type of parts are few and far between. I guess...

HD Pedals overcenter spring - need help

Cliff - actually did call, long wait to talk with them. I have an email into too, but being the weekend, not sure I am going to get my answer till Monday. As for the pedal rebuild, that's really not necessary, would like to get the pin and the spring (or a variation of the spring).

HD Pedals overcenter spring - need help

I have a set HD pedals with no overcenter spring. I have looked many places (Brewers, Google, here) and can not find any information on this. What I am looking for is how the spring is assembled, what the spring looks like and where to buy one. Photos, where to purchase - anything would be...
