Before you make up your mind, check out diyhemi.com. I have not confirmed his work yet but I eventually will. He has a lot of good info and interesting youtube videos. If it is all correct, it really changes the Gen3 hemi game.

You are correct there. I never thought of it from that angle. I don't have a problem cutting and welding my tank either since that would be very close to free! I thought I could just cut the rectangular shape of the baffle in the bottom of the tank and then install the baffle, cover up the hole...
I'm not sure about what type of material would be resistant enough to gasoline, but is a bendable plastic trough that could slide into the tank through the sending unit opening and then be held in place by the pump itself possible? Seeing that one set into the cut tank gave me a whole new...
Think about a wiring issue. After swapping parts, it ran good for a while then started acting up again. Maybe a wiring connection in one of the plugs is sketchy?
My background is in Industrial Controls and more often than not I find wiring issues are responsible for erratic behavior.
