Yes it is smaller. Forgot my measurements though. My 360 had mag heads and had great low and midrang was not built for rpm, so not sure what it would take to bottleneck your combo.

Dang, I wish I would have known about magnummopar before I ordered from Hughes today. As for my cam, it is a Summit 50052 with .454" when used with 1.5 rockers. So it should be around .484" with the magnum heads.

I did find a Magnum engine today with the oiling for LA heads machined in the block. Thought I would share as I was beginning to think it was a unicorn. A 94 casting date 360.

What is nice is you have a roller cam engine to start out with. I would start with exhaust, a crossover of some kind like and H or X pipe is a nice place to start that will give you room to grow later if you go 2.5" or even a little bigger.

You can either buy a short 3/4" wrench or cut a cheap wrench down to clear. The pics I posted were under the hood of my Chrysler, so I was kinda cheating. But I use this method on my Dart as well.
