When setting the trans @ 3° down and the diff @ 3° up, does the car have to be level? I was thinking the car should be level from the front sub frame to the rear sub frame? I have a nice frame jig to use. Thoughts?

What year is your motor? I have the aluminum 6.1 intake for my 5.7, but I notice yours is shaped the same but plastic. the aluminum ones get heat soaked and I have to modify the ports accordingly. :burnout:

Map63vette, I'm assuming that's the SRT MAX cam. Just checked there website and I didn't see a SRT MAX PLUS cam???? You'll have to take a longer video next time!!! Sounds like you got a nice set of headers on there, do you ave the idle set lower? What are you running for spark/fuel electronics?

Can you get a lopey idle from the 5.7 without changing pistons? I've heard the SRT max sound clips but would like something that sounded a litle more like a LA motor. :burnout:

IF your getting all the electrics and wiring, I would would use the new automatic transmission and transfer case. If it was a 4x4. There are other things to grab as well: - fuel tank/ pump. - exhaust system. - rad. - steering column. - fuse box. Doing a swap like this you should really...

I had the TR6060 in the garage, paid around $2000 for the trans and clutch package. Sold everything for a profit and bought a rebuilt T56 for $1000. I knew about changing the shifter out to the new style, just couldn't get over the goofy drive shaft connection. I still don't have the T56 in...
