Exactly. Just passing on an article dated: August 27, 2015 Thought it might interest some people who would take the time to read it. It also says: "Alongside the new Barracuda, the new Charger will also use the Alfa Romeo Guilia (pictured below) as a base."

According to Automotive News, Chrysler announced to dealers at a conference in Las Vegas that the new Barracuda is on the way, using the new Alfa Romeo Guilia as a base, and sporting a convertible top only. While that all sounds like good news... there will be a bit of a questionable design...

Thats my main issue is that neither the Dart or the Charger look like/or have any similarities to their predecessors. I had a Charger a few years ago and it was a nice car- but, it had no muscle car look that made it eventually unappealing to me.

It cant be that hard for the car designers to sit down and knock out a good looking ride! It also makes you wonder just what they were thinking when they "designed" the new Dart??? Or Charger for that matter... Bring in some old school to the design- and sales would increase IMO.

Didnt know there was no drivetrain... imagine it would have been a little different result. But- sometimes propaganda is a good thing. I remember seeing some magazine articles back in the day endorsing 3pt shoulder belts and about just how unsafe lap belts were... Unfortunately that was right...
