The Engine in the OP looks like a Chrysler. lol Dilley, your layout looks like one I saw in an old Atlas train layout catalog. It also seems that you've made excellent use of a number of Atlas blocking and turnout switches. Nice stuff. :thumbup:

The Trifecta.... Slant Six, Visable V8, and Visible 426 Hemi... There was also a Wankle Engine model available.

I still have one new, in the box from the 1960's. As a kid I received 2 Visible V8 kits, and a Slant Six kit. Built the slant and the V8. The second VV8 is sitting in my attic presently. No, it's not for sale.

I only knew of one, and it was by AMT. It was a Petty kit car, short tracker. Everyone seems to be enamored with the 68 and 69 body. I'd love to see a 70-72 kit.

I voted for the Willys. That SW&C car stuck a chord with me and some fond memories of 1960's drag racing, model building and youth.

I voted for the Ford, but these are both outstanding builds. Congrats to both of you guys.

Some of the old Lionel stuff you posted looks to be the old "Tin Plate" stuff. That's pretty collectible, even in very used condition. I love to see some good pics of what you have, and possibly a list. You have a couple of guys interested in your stuff, right here, It might be time for you...
