Also, is it bad to block off the EGR port? will it make any difference? I know some gasket sets come with a little plate to put over it.

I have never used a stealth and I got it in trade. I know it is about an inch taller than the Eddy. I like the look of it more to. But I really just want a good reliable fun car that runs on pump gas and has a little bit more umph. Thanks so far for the suggestions.

I have a set of the 1990 318 twirl port heads.Are they the later 318 heads you are talking about? I have the whole engine. It was a throttle body injected with the roller lifters. Would those be better than the J heads?

Would I be better off with a Edelbrock performer cam?

Not sure of the ratio now, but the cam specks are 269/282 adv 480/494 gross. That is what I was told from the person I got it from.

J heads were on 71-72 360's and 71-73 340's.

Well, since no one seems to want my J-heads, I am thinking about using them on my 318. Are there any mods that I would have to do so that they will work? Thanks. Jeremy
