    Oil or oil-free air compressor

One thing I noticed about my oil less (power fist) is it noisier and takes forever to get started with building air pressure especially if the garage is a bit cool inside, my old one a emglo which I still have in the other garage pumps air quickly cold or warm. One garage is heated and one isn't...

whats everyone using to carry tools around.

I like the carts with wheels, and they work great for the auto wreckers too! I just wish the wheels were a little bit bigger for ground clearance.

    24Wx32L Garage Build

I have about the same size 24L X 34W but just turned sideways. I went with 10' 6" high but had to get a special permit which was a pain but I'm happy with it now. I have a 4 post lift in there and only have 3" from the roof of the car when the car is on the lift at it's highest position...

How do you sort your tools

I start by sorting by 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4. One drawer for each. Then if possible 6pt and 12 pt, one side of the drawer is metric and the other sae.

    recommendation on 4-post lift

I have 2 lifts and the first one I bought is a double lift and is made in the US. The second one is ramps made in china and the rest is locally made at a company called Ken Nan. It doesn't seem right that it is cheaper to make them in china and ship them here for cheaper. Both hoists have been...

Rotisserie - never seen one like this before

They had one of those at the last world of wheels shows I was at. They showed the car going from on the ground to on it's side and those brackets bolted to the hubs. The demo car had no engine or trans in it. I tried to find a demo on line but couldn't find one.

How to organize a tool box

I like to see all my tools laid out. I think I use a combination of what was said previous in this thread. If it's laid out neat you can see if something is missing, I always blame someone other than myself.

    Looking for a lift!!!

A lot of the new 2 post lifts have that over height shut off bar. Your garage must have 6 inch concrete minimum. (Well the 2 I looked at these were the specs). So for me I went with the 4 post lift. It's not a covenant as a 2 post, but the 4 post needed a garage inside minimum height of 10 feet...

    Toolbox Pics

Here is mine. as time goes on it seems you accumulate more tools. 3 snap on Box's and a unitool small side box. I was going to buy Snap on instead of the unitool box but almost $700 more for the snap on equivalent. Both box's have ball bearing draws sliders.
