My Valve Spring Compressor - Heads On/In Car

Thanks guys! I use an old plug wire with the distributor boot cut off, coiled in the cylinder. The spark plug boot eliminates worrying about it dropping in, it's easy to clean each time, and no worries about air pressure failing. It just takes some practice on where to set the cylinder before...

My Valve Spring Compressor - Heads On/In Car

I ended up needing to install fresh valve springs in my truck. All I had was a cheapy screw type compressor, with the fingers that grab the springs. They are not too horrible, for what they cost, but are completely useless when it comes to INSTALLING double springs. That left me looking for a...

    Air compressor

Buy one used. Lots of people shell out for a big compressor - then never use it! Try facebook, letgo, CL, etc. I bought a nice 220v 60 gal compressor with a brand new pump for less that that Kobalt. Also, you can run more than one tank chained together to increase capacity in a pinch. Yesterday...

How about the 1/2" Snap On digital tech wrench torque wrenches? I just inherited one, not a cheap tool, was wondering about accuracy, no idea how old it is , or it's history. Fired it up for the first time today, but no set value available to verify accuracy.

    Drop light...

I use a cheapo old style drop light, but with those spiral florecent bulbs, because they don't blow everytime you set the light down. I've actually had the same bulb in it for about two years.

    Garage fire

Threw a couple bucks in. Put yourself in that spot, losing your Dad and your ride in 24 hours. Could be me, no renter's insurance...lost my Uncle's 68 Coronet to a fire at a shop and still hurts and pisses me off 15 years later. Help a fellow Mopar guy out. That guy at the stoplight probably...

Which timing light should I buy?

The 5568 has 151 5 star reviews 18 4 star reviews and only 15 3 star or less reviews on Amazon. I think thats pretty good. Generally people are more inclined to give a review of something they have a complaint about. Looks like if you have a problem you might as well buy a new one vs...
