    which street race tire ?

I've found the ET Streets and the Hoosier tires to work about equally well with a couple of exceptions. The Hoosiers last longer, but the sidewalls are very soft. This is great for a car with little suspension as the tire does a lot of the work, but for a car that hooks hard it can make the car...

    Attn Swinger owners

With a 15*8 5.5 backspace Pro Star and a 3/8" to 1/2" spacer, I can fit this tire in my 71: 27 *10.5 * 15 ET Street Note however, that those measurements are larger than the actual tire. Its more of an 8" slick with bulgy sidewalls. It is close. I have rolled the fenderlips and have B-Body...

    15x3.5 on the street?!?

i've run several cars on the streets with those tires. They do have a substantial negative effect on braking, so you have to be aware of that, especially with drum brakes. Otherwise no troubles. You can find the 165R15s on Ebay and other places. Prices vary a lot. One thing I don't like...

Space saver spare tire in an A body?!?

All the 94 up Mustangs use an economy spare. Some of the wheels are even aluminum. 94-2004 is 26" tall. 2005 and newer are 27" All are 5*4.5" Surely, however, you are not going to use that bumper jack?

Can you fit a 15*8 on the front of a 1971 Dart?

Hey: I had a chance to get a set of pretty nice wheels for a good price, but they're all 15*8. Sounds like its more hassle than I want to deal with. It currently has 3.5" wheels on the front. They fit nice-LOL! Thanks for the help! Steve

Can you fit a 15*8 on the front of a 1971 Dart?

Hey All I've converted my Dart to big bolt pattern and would like to get some new wheels and tires for it. Has anyone run a 15*8 wheel on the front? What backspace would you use? Thanks for any help Steve

Is my original spare worth anything>

Hey All: Got the original spare out of my '71 Dart. It doesn't do me any good because I switched to big bolt pattern. Its off a 35K mile car, and is in really good shape. Its not like I'm planning on trying to make a mint on it or anything. I'm new to Mopars and I just don't want to let it...

    Another widest wheel question....

I've got a '71 Dart with an 8.75", stock wheelwells, fenders, etc. I can fit a MT ET Street 26*10.5 (same as 26*8 slick) on a 15*8" wheel with 5.5' backspace and a 3/16" spacer, and it is very tight up against the spring and fender lip both. I don't think you'll be able to fit that 10"...
