16000 dollar parts car. What a waste.

This guy is nuts. Every part of this car is rotted! He’s basically selling a VIN, engine and trans and misc parts. $5k would be absolutely top dollar for this titanic of a relic.

Those wing cars, or any classic car that was in that salt water, will need to be 100% stripped and dipped. The only way to kill all the active rust in the nook and crannies. If you don’t, expect problems down the road.

I’ve seen the 9 1/4 in 3/4 tons. But every one ton I’ve seen had Dana 60s. Not saying it didn’t happen. I had a 1992 Dodge D2500 pickup with a 318/518 and it had a 9 1/4. Weirded me out the first time I saw that! Have since seen a few others.

If it’s a 1 ton like he says, it’s probably a Dana 60.

He needs to keep dropping it. The car is rusty and has been T boned on both sides and half-*** repaired. He isn’t disclosing that though.

I doubt the 727, completely. However, I’ve seen the 8 3/4 in slant cars a lot. I had a 72 4 door Dart that had the slant, 904, power disc brakes and 8 3/4 all factory. I have a 71 Swinger slant with an 8 3/4 too. I sorta doubt the suregrip but anyone could have added that.
