I have had great luck with the plasticote engine paints. Much better than the Mopar, VHT, or Duplicolor brands. I will spray the first coat lightly but evenly on a CLEAN engine. It will still look really clear. I let it tack up for 15 min's or so than add a second coat a little wetter but still...
