You guys are probably right. The biggest problem is finding a GOOD exhaust shop here. I think that manifold has a 2" outlet. Pretty much standard issue from at least '70-76

That's a very good idea except that I'm scared to mess with those manifolds. They don't use gaskets and I have NEVER gotten a "transplanted" set to not leak. They take a set or something over the years. Even with gaskets they leak.

Thanks. I think the parts store is attempting to sell me the wrong manifold gaskets, but otherwise I'll pick up 4 of both sizes and should be in business.

Would anyone know what size bolts are used in the exhaust manifolds(where the headpipes join) on regular 318 manifolds? I'm nearing the end of an off and on 3-year project and those were taken off and disappeared to who knows where. Thank you....
