I finally got some things done on my 67 barracuda. I got the engine & trans in the radiator, right header, shifter mech. & linkage. The left header, Z bar, starter, clutch fork & every thing else that goes with the trany is next.

Got the trunk area all seamed sealed & under sealer

Got the right quarter installed & the left one fitted up. Also i wasnt happy with the top of the door & quarter gap. So i did some welding & grinding to make the gap the way i want it.

Got the new trunk floor in & both trunk extension installed. Also got the lt wheel well installed. Now just waiting for the quarters to show up.

I installed the rear RMS kit on my barracuda & it has an adjustment so i can lower the back of the car another 2 inches. What do you think should i drop it ?

Got some rt rocker work done & got the rt trunk drop off installed

this one isnt going to be restored back to original mini tubbed springs moved in sassy grass green with stain black hood

yes i hate rust work but you throw a bunch of new body parts at me then it gets fun

One good thing about this project the guy is not afraid to spend money. Instead of doing a lot of rust work he is willing to buy new. what ever i need All new inner & outer wheel wells. As you see someone else has installed the rt side already.

The next project/puzzle i have in my shop. 73 duster 340 auto on the floor. It needs quarters, trunk floor, trunk ext. tail light panel, rt rocker, outer wheel wells, all rear brackets & braces. Also he wants it mini tubed & leaf springs moved in. Im finishing what someone else started.

yea its all original well it was Ray Barton bought it from the original owner. He was going to build a hemi clone but he sold to a friend of mine instead. Then he sold it to me.

Since i am not working on someone else car i have some time to work on my 67 barracuda. I got the RMS rear suspension all done. Im in the middle of putting the rear disk brake kit on just need to wait for the caliper paint to dry. I got all the front disk brakes done. Next thing will be the...

Got some finishing touches to do on the 68 barracuda then it will be ready to go home. Then on to the next one.

I left it dry for a few days then sanded it with 600 grit. So between the first 3 coats & sanding it it was about 3 days.

Sprayed a few more coats of clear today. Next step will be wet sand & buff.

i dont mind buffing its the wet sanding i dont like

PPG deltron clear mixed 4:1 with a hardner dry times depends on booth temp i try to keep my booth at 75-80 when & after i spray ill let it set for 2 -3 days before sanding

Got the first 3 coats of clear on today. Let it dry for a few days then sand it with 600 grit. Then ill spray 3 more coats. After that wet sand & buff.

have to retape some things & do some touch up going to clear this week some time

no he told me that the roof was up to me your not going to see it that good plus a pain in the you know what & more materials i dont think its worth it
