cool. I have a built 2.2 that I thought would be fun to put in a t-bucket. Almost bought a 2.2/2.5 to 904 adapter that was advertised on turbo dodge a few years back, but passed. Don't remember who was making them but it was the last one they had and they weren't making anymore.

Is there any numbers on the tag that would identify the year? The tag on the carb on my 67 dart GT convertible(273, 2 barrel, automatic)is blue. the carb could have been replaced, I suppose.

I remember it was kind of a pain to keep the washer thing on the mirror control, fish it through the hole, while avoiding slicing my arm on the door panel, and get the nut on. I think you are right on the tinnerman clip.

On the mirror control mount, I seem to remember a wave washer(don't know its official name but it is a is a thin washer that is not flat)on mine. I could be wrong or thinking of something else.

You probably know this already, but if you order a repop firewall insulation, also order the correct looking install plastic nails. Most of the firewall insulation kits I have seen come with non original mounting nails. Aaron

Sorry it took so long, here are pics of the tags I found attached to the underside of my carpet. It's a 67 Dart GT Convertible, built in Hamtramck.

When I replaced the carpet in my 67 Dart, I found a tag on both halves of the carpet, the front said Dart, the rear said Valiant.

Here is a few pics on where I am now on my 67 Dart. The engine is almost complete, just waiting on the cam. Stock 273 2 barrel. Have the parts stripped from the engine compartment and if all goes according to plans, will get it to body shop for estimate and time frame on this coming Friday...
