I just found the issue, the lock tap at speedo has a small broken piece and not allowing it snap in. It is a clean break so it looked like that’s the way it was supposed to be. Thanks again for all the info

Thanks for the info! It is definitely the plastic end going to the speedo. I removed the plastic end from the cable and it bottoms out before it snaps in.

Anyone have a link for a correct fitting speedometer cable for a 69 Valiant with 727? I purchased one from EBay, the length and the trans end was ok but speedometer end would not snap in. The nylon end is not deep enough.

anybody have a pic of the door glass run channel weather strip? Bought reproduction strips but can’t get it to fit. It’s a 2 door sedan but I’m sure 4 door is the same. Just want to make sure I have the correct ones.

Does a 70-72 Duster/Valiant grill mount in a 69 Valiant with out major issues?

Will a 67-69 Dart 2dr sedan doors work on a 69 Valiant (body line the same)? Anybody know if 70-71 valiant fenders will work on a 69 Valiant,will it line with the 69 valance panel.
