    Value of unknown 400 engine.

I'd try $300, maybe he'll meet you in the middle. A guy has one for sale out here and claims its the "rare, thick wall block" and is asking $1000 bucks for it. Wow..

Sniper on a big block stroker

I run it on a sb 408 stroker and am very happy with it. Tried an external pump and was never happy with it. Ended up going with the Tanks Inc set up for it (I believe the Holley tank is the same but more $$) The Sniper unit is easy to set up and works great. Hit the key and go. I'm not...

hurst pro matic 2 shifter shift pattern

P,R,N,3,2,1 Is correct for a standard vb. I've run a forward and reverse with mine and no way could you change the shift pattern with the shifter, but you do have to start with it in the right position to adjust it with either vb.

    451 for a street car??

I guess it is pretty obvious. Control the throttle, control the car. Maybe I'm way over thinking it. I'm not afraid of too many cubes, or of my driving ability. Just don't want a car that is a big handful every time you hit it. Lots of post both small and big block talking about tire frying...

    451 for a street car??

Looking for feedback. Is it too much for a stree car? Got a line on a nice 451pushing high 400 hp but wondering is it way to much to handle on the street. Would be going into my 68 Dart. It is an auto car, 727, 8.75 with either 3.91 or 3.23's. 235/40R18 on the tire rear. Not wanting to...

    R6 440 block?

Anyone know of a 1971 440 R6 racing block? Got a local guy trying to sell one complete with only 43k on it. Say's it was a very rare factory option racing block. I can't find anything on it except maybe they do make a modern nascar R6 block but he is saying his is a factory 1971 engine that he...

To Six Pack or Not to Six Pack

Not sure if this is worth what he is asking or if he will separate it but this local guy has some stuff that might help someone out putting together a 6-pack setup. Not mine and I don't know the guy. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=31463395&cat=&lpid=&search=6 pack&ad_cid=1
