Well, they are tricky to get dialed in, and as long as you route the cable away from the headers, you should be good When I first Installed mine I was too close to the headers and kept melting the cable

i got a basic plastic one, that should wedge in between the seats, and bolted it to the problematic shifter

yup, mine was one with a shift color (ripped that off when i installed a ratchet shifter) not even sure if there is one or two screws there, its been on for so long

i mounted mine to the steering column just dont mount it too far forward, or it will move as you shift
