Do Schumacher slant six to 340 motor mounts raise engine?

That is a workaround, not a solution From the pictures it looked like the two mounts were different sizes, is that true ? And when they are installed, is the locating nub on the top or bottom?

Do Schumacher slant six to 340 motor mounts raise engine?

Looks like the one biscuit is twice as big as the other...truck biscuit? Swapping that for a thinner (car mount) will drop it a little

Do Schumacher slant six to 340 motor mounts raise engine?

Could it be whoever bolted the biscuits to the mount put them on upside down? A trained eye would spot that in a picture quite fast

Do Schumacher slant six to 340 motor mounts raise engine?

Thats a good point though, @Veryfastdart do you have the pre 73 biscuits or the 73 and up spools? (I approached this thread with biscuits in mind)

Do Schumacher slant six to 340 motor mounts raise engine?

Did you use the right biscuits ? They have a few different thicknesses The holes the biscuits sit in are slotted and some adjustment can be made by jacking up the engine just enough to take pressure off the biscuits and moving then towards the outside of the slots

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

I think the real question is "how does blueprint build a head that would replacing it with a trick flow, edelbrock or speed master be a downgrade"

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

From what I understand, 90% of these heads will get bolted on in house So on paper, if something is out of spec, the assembly guy who caught it, can walk over the the QA guy who passed it, grab him by the ear and show him the mistake

Great point on the manifold clearance...and those taller rails could have saved PBR 330 dollars

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

Oh, here is a thought, can you cast the heads a little taller, so that short valve covers will clear the valve train? That would be a selling point

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

I know you allready mentioned it will be magnum based, but I would like to point out a valve cover with 10 bolts tends to leak less then one with 5 (while still allowing you to bolt up LA covers, should you want to)

Oil Pan leaking, one side only!!!

if i read it correctly, it is a magnum block with LA timing cover and LA oil pan
